Anyone have one of these? i'm particularly interested in the Glen and M&M models. How do you find them? I've never had a WHP saddle so am wondering if it's really as versatile as they are made out to be?

If you buy one, get a 17" size 6 Glen MK II so I can come and nick it. One isn't enough :D
Please ignore the mess, it's tidy now :o

That's an XX wide equivalent, it's a width 6, and they go up to 9. Not sure where it starts.
This is it with Mum, bearing in mind she is novicey and nervous.

Although it has a fairly flat/shallow seat (which caused me a few problems initially!) she feels better in it than my previous saddle, and I don't think she looks insecure. For me I struggled at first because I was used to a nice deep seat. I was convinced that if he spooked I'd be off. Only took me two days to get used to it, and I'm as secure as ever.
No pictures of me on it, but we've done some 2ft sj and 2'6 wh, height limited by nerves rather than saddle. I've ridden down some steep hills in it, up some even steeper hills, and been fine. Done some showing, had lessons, and haven't come out of it yet. But I think I did have a sore bum for the first couple of days, too used to the gel filled seat of the previous saddle.
I went for the WH rather than the GP because I can do everything in a WH, and that's what we do. The woman I spoke to suggested the GP, but I didn't think it'd show off his shoulder, and I still think that. We have the flocked one, as it offers better options when it comes to altering it.
I'd definately recommend them. Pricey, but I love it to bits. and the numnah, and the girth :o

i have jumped up to about 4 foot in various WH saddles, up and down serious hills, novice dressage. they do take a bit of getting used to for jumping, but i am much more stable in one now than a forward cut saddle.

Oh, I had a 7 day trial on mine as well, so you could do that and find out just how versatile one is?

I haven't seen those, and tbh my Sabre bridle probably worked out cheaper, and it goes with the saddle well enough. From the photos I think they may be a little over priced, but then I was willing to pay £65 for one of their girths!
If I was in a position to do so, I'd probably get one anyway, for the sake of completion. Imagine I could get it made to my spec as well, which would be nice.

i think, on the price list in the bumf the guy gave me, the native pony bridles were £85 which certainly wouldn't break the bank and i could order one now........... their numnahs were pretty lush too!! mum and i have already decided we want the fully lines WH numnah and the girth to go with the saddle :o

I wish you hadn't mentioned those bridles now. I don't need another show bridle, but I'm adding one to my christmas list. :o
