i have a pair of full suede seated jods and they do provide more "grip" but they are a s*d to wash and still leak colour one year on.

Yes, they do. I love mine. However, do not try to be clever and wear sticky bum jodhs with a suede-seated saddle, as you will not be able to adjust your position AT ALL, and you will be stuck riding in the position in which you mounted. When you dismount there will be a noise like ripping velcro, and everyone else in the yard will fall around wetting themselves laughing. I can vouch for this personally.

I've not tried them but a friend of mine at my yard says they are great.

Hated mine. Stuck to the car seat but that was about it. I'm getting a suede seat on the saddle next time instead.

Ive got some suede breeches...purely cus i wanted some beige and navy ones and never seen any before these. Apart from the fact they are an awful fit when I sat in my leather seated saddle I could not move!! These worked better than my sticky bums thos it is uncomfortable!
