Here we go peeps!!!!
I had a small jumping session today with jenmac_85 on the end of a camera and being my jump sorter!!!
The camera we used had a terrible timedelay so most of the are befores or afters!! But he i jumped and that's all that matters!!!!
No critique please as I know what we are doing wrong but getting over the jumps is the best thing at the mo!!!
I got over a 1ft 6'' upright!!! Woohoo!!! Sad I know from a person who used to event lol!!! isnt confidence a fragile thing??? :D
Warm up jump! 1ft

Bigger Jump 1ft 6'' It's a shame that we couldnt actually get us going over this but at least I did it!!!

I was told that over the bigger jump he gave it lots of room. He threw me off the first time we attempted this jump but I was more to do with me than him. I'm just so pleased that I actually just got back on growled legged on and he jumped it without rushing or going nuts!!!
I know that it looks as though i havent folded but I did it's just that I was told to sit up as soon as possible in prep for the next one!!
I'm soo proud!!!!

Just thought I would and confirm how fabulous Nikki and Kia looked.
Want to apologise to everyone for not taking great pics, but take it from me, they looked great.
The two larger jumps were great.
Big Congratulations to both Nikki and Kia :D

absolutely 100% ditto Jenny and Tyler - strutting your stuff. If you've got it, flaunt it, and you two have sure donw that with your SJ. So glad your confidence has soared after that!

Yay! Your confidence is obviously getting better:) Who cares what height you jumped when you evented thinking "oh I used to jump..." won't get you anywhere confidence wise, focus on the here and now! "Look at me I'm jumping 1.6 straights when not so long ago I wouldn't go near a pole on the ground" ;) Keep going hun you're doing great:D

ooooh I might but I might also nip over an cheer you on if you like!!!!
Kia and me are still resolving our showing differences!!! He seems to think that part of the individual show is to make mummy do a front flip in front of the judges lol!!!
that's just over the back from me I think!!!

Congrats on the jumping - I've lost confidence at the moment in jumping so I would be hugely proud for jumping those too! Well done.

Hi peeps!!!
Right we have gotten comfy with our height and I'm not really gonna go over that height at the mo so I was thinking trying to have a wider jump and having maybe a small combination like two or three jumps in a row????
Would you do this or try for higher before going wider???
Just trying out new things that I though would keep it interesting but not overjump him or over face him.
What do you think???

Ok sounds like a plan horsesaddle!!!
It wouldnt matter if the jumps stayed small would it??? I dont want to get too technical and have to think about height and all that at the same time at the mo til we are more confident!!!

they are £25 for a novice jumping lesson - group for an hour. I enjoyed my one and have some pics - you can tell the instructor what level of novice you want.
They also have andrew hamilton clinics and again - group or single think that £35 for group - but never tried these as they were above my comfort level with chinook
I have contacted linda Jamieson who was going to come to my yard and see me and voltan - she is £30 for an hour. But if you wanted we would sort it so you pop up to that and either watch and see what you think or come up with kia and have a go.
Will be in another week as just trying to how Voltan goes at this dressage on wednesday night :)
