Ardennes breed

Hi everyone, firstly I'm fairly new to NR but as I've posted a couple times thought I'd best post a picture of my lad. I've posted it in this topic cos I'm trying to find out more about breed and other owners.

I don't have any papers for him but I've contacted great ardennes of GB who said she thinks he's a ardennes x shire x going from his pictures.
So hopefully this is a picture of him below!!:D

yeah i would say he has ardenn-ness about him.
look at his tank like build!!! lol

I know he's got short stumpy legs and only stands at 15.1hh but
takes 6'6 / 6'9 rugs!! :eek:

We had no idea of his breeding til i come across a picture and thought god its him!:)

I love Ardennes, all the foreign drafts are lovely (and obviously the english ones :))

There was a lovely haffy/shire x knocking around the ads a while ago called Harry whowas 18.3hh :eek::eek: .... he just looked like a HUGE haflinger, sounds like yours is the opposite Jowyles.

Ardennes remind a little of pigs for some reason (thats a compliment as I love pigs!!!! :cool:)

PS - Bombproof have some lovely Belgium drafts in at the moment (not that I would PERSONALLY buy anything from there! - but they have pretty pictures ..lol)

18.3HH!!!! Dexters only 15 hands!! Tho I wouldnt want a Dexter that size 15hh Dexter is hard enough to handle!

Nice looking lad, does he have a double mane. certainly looks like Ardennes to me. Do you have any more pics?.
