Lovely horse! The pics are good.
Were you a bit nervous?
For the flatwork position i would say as you relaxed you got into a better position, but practice with lots of no stirrup work :)
The jumping was good, i think your stirrups were too long which didn't help, try shortening and it will be so much easier. You could practice your jumping position over smaller jumps and poles and feel what it should be like, then try over bigger jumps.
Stick your feet forwards like a hunter lol!!!
Your hands are good, and you give enough.
wasn't much help, sorry xXx

no no ty ty :D, I was a little excited to be jumping but the girl who jumped before me fell off so that didn't help me much lol. Me and D have just 3' before but I don't know... something about those jumps made them look huge. Maybe because there was only one pole? I normally have something under the jump or else two poles lol. I'm wierd like that, I have a WAY better jumping position I swear lol. I'll get pictures the next change I get.

Yes i know what you mean, they don't look solid, i usually have 2 poles or a little cross with a straight on top.
At shows you don;t think about your position and just want 2 get over the jumps, so i'm sure you are good at home:) That's always the way!!!

I think you look great...
don't worry about the jumping.. it's always harder jumping at a show, and having all eyes on you.
I also agree.. when the jumps don't have any filler underneath they look HUGE!:)

i think on the first pic you need to relax your shoulders a little more and bring your bottom more underneath you, then it should help your lower leg fit into a nice position :)
the jumping pic doesnt look too bad but your stirrups are a bit long
AMx
p.s. D is lush :D

I found some pics of me and D jumping 2' from an earlyer show. We did 2' because the combined the classes and we had some 13 & under jumpers. Crit. welcome!! I'll also give links to 4 or 5 pics of flat work and feel free to pick on me & D. I think I need to collect him a little more and lower his head some....
