Just a question does your lesson always do no stirups with them dangling down the side? - I was taught to cross them over in front of the saddle - this is not a critisism of you I've seen a few people doing it that way recently and wondered why they don't cross them over. I always cross them as otherwise they bang the horse in the sides.

Not a critisism more of a wonderment (if that's even a word :))

there is no right or wrong place to put your stirrups when working without them... if the rider doesnt feel secure without, the RI generally leave them down, so the rider can get their feet back in should they feel wobbly.... once they are more confident at not having them then they can cross them over....

Sunkist - you have a very nice seat, and not much I can tell you in order to make you better.... other than keep going as you look nice, and seem to be a quiet and caring rider for your horse....

*nod*Yep, we usually do leave them like that.
