he carries me fine, but from a photgraphic view, do i look utterly huge :P

I don't think it matters what you look like as long as he isn't struggling to carry you :)

I think you do look a little big - but also by being 'perched', your weight will be less easy for him to carry.
Try dropping your stirrups a couple of holes and really try to relax and drape your legs around him. Don't force it but aim to 'grow' your legs as long as you can. At the moment, with your short stirrups your butt is being pushed towards the back of your saddle which is not ideal, and you're not in as secure a position as you could be. If he were to spook or turn suddenly, you look like you could be dislodged. I'd prefer to see you sitting more 'into' rather than 'on' him, if you see what i mean.

i agree - though i have no doubt that he can carry you fine :-) you look quite precarious and easily unbalanced (thought i cannot say as you may have a superb seat, without having actually seen you ride).

I think you look great on him. your stirrups are a bit jockey-style though...

With longer strirrups I think that you would look better but if you feel comfortable then stick with it.
