Advice greatly appreciated. :p I've only been around horses (with the exception of carnivals and such) for a year, and I've owned Chance, my TB, for almost nine months. I joined pony club and have been taking lessons for about 4 months. I posted these pics in the General board too, I think, but I believe this is the right place to actually post it. Thanks for critiquing!. :p

On the second picture, you look like you are leaning on the horse too much, on the neck. I would sit up a bit more in stirrops and shove your habds up neck a bit. Good though (the horse I ride is called chancer too! ;))

Thanks for the advice. I believe in that one he surged and surprised me, and I sort of goofed? :p I love the name Chance--it suited him, too, considering we almost didn't even ride him because he had terrible ground manners--which is a no-no for a beginner like myself. He was so sweet though, that we decided to ride him, and he proved himself to be an angel. :) So...second chance, no?
