I finally found it... there is the most amazing showjumping video on youtube.com

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZawtuBfttQ

The title is "Rider Jumps Without Irons" which pretty much says it all. Horse bucks after first jump, she loses her stirrups, and finishes the course. I am in awe.....

Yep, definitely a talented, in balance great rider!

Put my mind at rest when she went out the side door at the end though. Was starting to get jealous that she could sit all of its' tantrums.

Does that make me mean by saying that

I was watching the POYS show on tv and a little girl lost her stirrups on the second jump when the pony refused and she did the rest of the round without them! The pony was a little speed bomb and there would be NO way i could have completed the round!

Wow what a ride! And she knocked down 3 rails lol sorry I was watching the fences intently and she knocked down the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th one (you only hear the 5th go down when it pans off the fence) did I miss any? I love her leg it's so solid and she stayed on until the end I hope her RI gave her props for that round

Good rider, but i am sort of surprised that she didnt get her stirrups back. Thats one of the first things i was ever taught throughout my start of jumping.

Must have hurt at the end!! Right on the fence!!

Good for her!!!!

Bet that took a lot of determination!!!

Just as well she kept it's head up as it was giving it big pings with that head up imagine those if the head got down!!!

Very spirited horsey!!!

I think they announced her being from San Juan Capistrano...I used to ride there!! Wahoooooo! Too bad I didn't inherit any of her tremendous talent. :o I would have been off at the first buck! :)
