hacking , hacking and more hacking. ermmmm.... getting VERY wet. Oh and more hacking.
On sunday we are having a yard ride to a pub and back. :D Hope my 'oss remembers the way back.

spent most of it trying out saddles and nursing a broken re broken pinned/screwed finger. (bet you are glad you asked)
Apart from that hacking and trying to get po ready for a ride around part of the Pennine Way this Sept with 5 other exmoor po's

We've ridden in a Kathleen Lindley clinic, done loads of hacking, competed in our first ridden showing class, had our first gallop and are thinking about hiring a local cross country course.

We have tons of stuff planned and we're just having fun together :)

Found a new saddle that fits and are just starting back into riding since pony came back from training mid-May. Have arranged for the trainer to come to my house one night a week to supervise/give lesson and suggestions to keep my and horse going.

Lor,, ouch... am hoping that broken finger is on the mend now. Understand how annoying saddle shopping can be!

Feel for the folks with the wet weather. We had winter (wet/rainy) up til July 1st.. then got simmering hot for a couple of weeks..one day

Moving yards. Only to be moving again soon. Dodging the storms. Reminding my coblet that manners are appropriate at all times. :rolleyes: Hacking and schooling when I can. No Shows cause lack of trailer. Still mucking a stable out. Generally everything one would do in the Winter. :rolleyes:

Did my first clear round back in may!! (just the tiddly clear round jumping but the first time I've ever jumped a course at a show!)
Hacking lots, trying to get to the bottom of his lack of enthusiams (think we're there and it may involve not having a sharer :( )

Got camp this weekend!! :) not sure how much of it I'm doing with B. I have another pony on stand by, but really I'd rather do it with B!
