How big are the crowns on your top hats? And black or navy?

For showing they're normally the high crown ones, I think about 5" upwards, not the ones used in dressage. Actual height ought to depend on what best suits the horse and rider. I don't have one, but if I did I'd probably go for a standard 5" as anything taller would look a bit silly on me and Daffy is only 14.2.
Tophats for showing are normally black, but worn with a navy jacket, for evening performances only. Don't ask me why.
If you're interested in side saddle I don't know if they are any different, but I imagine it's high crown again.
