:confused:hi we have the problem that as soon as our pony is in the trailer and the doors are shut she scrambles up the side till she falls over. We have a fairley new two horse richardson trailer and have been advised to take out the middle partition. Does anyone know if this is ok and where you can get a full length breast bar for a richardson trailer? Please help, if you have any other solutions to the problem that would be great too thanks!:D!

Yep, most horses travel much better without a partition. They can spread their back legs out and can stand diagonally, which they find much easier. Dunno about the bar though. You could probably get one made by a blacksmith (not farrier) if not.

A farrier worth his salt will make you a bar no bother, as will a blacksmith.
I made one for my trailer from an old boiler pipe, it was superb.
I tend not to travel ours with partitions as they find their own balance much better.
