Does anyone use Myler Bits? Are they legal for Dressage? I was thinking of getting a eggbutt with low port comfort bit to try on my horse, she goes well in a kimbleiwck without the curb and recently I have used her in a full cheek french link and she goes well in walk, canter and jumping but resists the bit in trot. I read an article on someone who used one on her horse and she said she worked in it fine. I would like to know everyones opinions on these bits.

Never tried them myself, but my friend swears by them for her ex-racehorse.

Not sure about dressage rules - you would have to check.

I've just got a wide barrel, comfort snaffle with hooks. I've only ridden in it 3 times, the first 2 I didn't attach the riens to the hooks, but did yesterday. I am very pleased with it.

I bought mine from the bit bank, Heather (the owner) is very helpful and gives a 4 week trial on the bits she sells.

I'm afraid they aren't legal for dressage. I was in my local tack shop last week and was chatting to the sales assistant who does compete in dressage and she swears by the Sprenger KK ultra, which is allowed. Heather at the bit bank did say the Mylers were fantastic for schooling.

I also saw in the tack shop that another manufacturer has copied the Myler designs and is about one third of price - I think its Elodonian, it definitely began with an E anyway.
