Does anyone know about horsie flu?

If a horse has been vaccinated against flu as part of their annual injections, can they still catch it? Are there many different strains of flu?

I had my flu jab (evan tho im 15) and the nurse told me that i still have the chance to cacth it but its alot les likely

im not sure if its the same with horses

I had a horse that got it after being vaccinated & the one that wasn't vaccinated didn't get it!:D I've never vaccinated for flu since.
