Just come back from my first ride on Lee, and boy I am on cloud 9 ! :D :D I feel like a kid at christmas ! :o
We only went out for 20/30 mins at a walk just to take it easy and my husband rode Spirit (his horse) out with me just in case Lee needed a bit of extra comfort in having a steady companion, he didnt care ! He was leading us out happy as, checking everything out, I think his ears only flicked back at me twice the whole walk, he was busy being nosey and watching dog walkers, other ponies and we even saw two deer, grazing within 50 yards of us, if we had been walking the dogs on the same route they would have fled ages before.
He was as good as gold, didnt blink at anything and was happy and confident the whole time out, I was really tempted to trot him for a bit, but decided not to, we just walked, but I had a fab time and even took a few pics and a small movie on my phone.

I was after a confidence giving horse, as I had a nasty accident a few years ago and I know it's early days yet, but I think we are going to have a load of fun together, just have to wait til the weekend now to go out again ! :D
