Obviously extended canter/gallop result in elimination, but what about extended trot? :confused:

Mine (the oldest) wont do anything other than extended trot.

Looking at your location I guess you are talking about the Halifax qualifiers.

He won that last year doing a lovely extended trot. He won two others under different judges too, so I think its OK.

Haven't bothered this year so far.

We're doing them next year, he missed this years.

When he does it, he has a fantastic extended trot, and given the work I'll be doing over the winter, it should be correct by then (as in not just running forwards) and with plenty of flexion in the hind end, which I know they're looking for.
