Have they introduced a gulletty adjusty thing like wintecs? Cos i was looking at my robinsons catalogue and that is indeed what it looks like. Or have they been like that for a while and i've just missed it?

And if they have got a gulletty adjusty thing (or whatever its called :D) Does it do any good? Are they a bit of a compromise or would it actually work?

Just random ponderings :)

Edited to add i have been really stupid and put this in general questions about care rather then the general forum.... silly girl!

It's new out. They are much better than the Wintec version though, and you still get the fish. With the new leather versions too, I think Thorowgood saddles are extremely good .

How are they different to the Wintcs and what makes them better? :)

I have just had a look on the Thorowgood site here (http://http://www.thorowgood.com/uk/l6/index.htm) and they do look a lot more versitile than the Wintecs :)

Do you think they would still have the problems with bridging/ coming up at the back that wintecs can have?
Does the udjustable gullet change just the front or the whole thing?

Do like the look of them-esp now you can adjust the overall shape of the saddle :)

I have a thorowgood maxam cob gp and its great!!!!

It stays where it is supposed to and it has straps for crossing shouls you need extra security for doing things like XC or big jumps.

They also adjust to the horse that they are placed on and woth the fish they are even goos for in between sized horses
