Livery Pentlands/Balerno Area

At last I'm in a position to own my own horse (I've waited 40 years LOL). By next year I should have enough saved to buy my first horse and am starting to think about livery:confused: I'm in West Edinburgh and would love to be able to ride in the Pentlands. I know of Kinleith Farm and Cockburnhill (I think), does anyone know what they are like, are the people OK (you know what I mean ;) ) - are the people nice and helpful to novices especially old people like me, or are they full of young children who would look at me as if I had horns and snigger at my feeble attempts to mount in an elegant way:eek: Are they expensive?

I do not know the area at all sorry. I would go and have a good feel for the place yourself:) I moved yard recently and had a really good feel for the place and could see me in my routine there. I got all sorts of horrible feedback that i WOULD = NOT LIKE IT THERE people stole- were bitchy and I would be sorry etc etc- I love it there and have never met such a lovely bunch of people who put their horses first and treat them 100%. I would go with gut instinct and make sure the place has the facilities you need x

i'm more West Lothian way PM, but Jenni is at Swanston and its lush! :D Got a great wee shop you can get yummy rolls and stuff at and there is also the one where Fizz is.
