Please if anyone has any ideas on making a homemade horse toy, it would really help me out. Thanx;)

What kind? Like a soft toy? Years ago Morrisons Supermarket used to sell little packs with all the things you needed to make soft animal toys - I have a mouse (that I've still not got around to making!!!)........Have you tried googling for soft toy patterns? Our tack shop sells lots of horse soft toys - they even have the neighing ones!!

if you dont have a swede you can use an apple:D

trewsers - hehe you made me giggle! i have visions of northernangels horse being presented with a stuffed version of itself!:D

i got an old cortaflex tub and cut a hole about an inch long and half an inch wide and filled it with his build-up cubes. It did work and he did play with it for ages, but the next morning he'd stood on it and it had bitten the dust :o:rolleyes:

worth a go though, perhaps if you have something stronger with a removable lid so you can refill it?

bobbing apples in water buckets
a football covered in molases/honey/treacle hanging from the ceiling by baler twine
whole veg/fruit hanging from the bars/ceiling by baler twice
a squeezy baby bottle filled with juice/peppermint solution, diluted with water, wedged between the bars of nthe stable (if there are any)
sliced fruit/veg, treats and polos hidden in your horse's forage
