A friend gave me a whole load of recent issues of horse magazine.

I read an interesting article on laminitis that said mares and ponies were more prone. Hence pony mares most at risk. Thought this was quite interesting and wanted to do a poll on how many people whose's horses were laminitic were either a pony mare, mare, pony or others eg geldings etc.

Not quite sure how to technically make a poll though:confused:

It might be helpful if the article was on another website and you could post the link so that we could all read it, or perhaps it was in a magazine and it's on their website?

I have a pony mare that's got a laminitis problem, but she's just been tested positive for Cushings, and they say that geldings are more prone to that than mares.

But I have know large, 17 hh Irish Draught horses to get laminitis as well.

But I would like to read the article.

It was in "Horse" magazine, will check which issue it was when I get home tonight.
