I was out taking pony for a walk in hand today (haven't been confident enough to rider her without someone walking with me yet). An elderly gentleman pulled up alongside me and said 'Aren't you kind not riding her'! Didn't want to admit to being too nervous to ride so I just said, yes, we're both trying to lose some weight:D Made me smile.
