I will be taking my cob into a ridden showing class soon.I am buying him a hunter bridle but hisf ace has hairs missing where the nose band sits.It has always been like that ever since i have had him.although the nose band and will cover it can anyone think of a white sort of makeup that won`t rub onto the nose band?

Can I ask why it matters, if his bridle hides it and you will not remove the bridle, I wouldn't bother. Especially as cobs can have very wide nosebands, we have them up to 2".

I think the pink skin will still show either side of the noseband.Just looking for advice just in case i need it.Looking at getting a 1 1/2 inch wide noseband.

Champion Tails do one called cover cream. Once on, that doesn't rub off.

You might want to try a wider noseband, if hes a proper cob it might be too thin. I have 1 1/2" on my welsh, and it doesn't look that thick on him. :)

We used a tub of white stuff on Charles, you put it on an hour, at least, before you want to go into the ring, let it dry then brush it and it's great!
