Looking for advice from all you m&m experts.I have a liver chestnut welsh cob with a four white socks and a blaze.I have bought a very nice brown dublin herringbone hacking jacket but i am a bit stuck on what tie.I thought if i wear a white shirt it will go with his socks.what colour tie do you recommend
Also would it be okay for him to have a pelham with double reins instead of a weymouth with a double?

Pelham with double reins is fine thats what the vast majority of showers use.
I wouldnt have a white shirt though, it stands out a bit too much against a tweed and tend to make people look a bit pasty, i'd try a slightly coloured beige or green striped one if i were you.
As for tie colours, greens always a good bet on a chesnut, burgundy is always a favourite but i'm not sure it would go on a chesnut, or maybe a goldy colour.

With that jacket (I used to have it) I'd go for a cream shirt, and either a bottle green or gold tie with a bit of a pattern.

Pelham is fine, if it's a rugby make sure you use a sliphead though. ;)

Well, for me i use a red tie and a canary shirt. Its sounds weird.. but it goes :)

Or brown and gold looks lovely :D

I have a liver chestnut C and i use a lemon shirt and a brown and gold tie and it really goes! :p

I would use bottle green on that colour horse.
