I used to be able to get it from an iron mongers in Crookes in Sheffield, but to be honest there are some equally good equine shampoos out there that do the job. I use Quicksilver, and its less of a faff to deal with and get hold of.

Blue bag! I remember them, it used to be a cure for wasp stings too, get the blue bag out they used to cry and dab it on a wasp sting!
I have no idea whether they even sell them or make them any more.
I did use to use the blue bag on the horses where I worked!
Oh happy days! :D :D

Tescos Grannys Soap Flakes work really well, and only cost about a pound.
They also seem to have cured the excema on my fingers!

Def try Gannys Soap Flakes...to get the stains out.
I've never found a 'blue bag' or 'dolly blue', I think it may be banned because of the chemicals?!?!?!? You could probably get an old job lot from ebay ;)
I've used Equine Blue instead:

I bet you remember when packets of crisps had a paper twist of salt in them too :o
When I started school we had slates and chalk instead of paper and pencils....:o:o:o I would like to point out that it must have just been our school as I don't know anyone my age other than my brother who remembers this.

I remember when Ski Yoghurt pots were made of waxed paper and had lids like milk bottle tops!
We used to have to save them for school as they made great paint pots, difficult to tip over.
