Double bridle

I have recently inherited a brand new double bridle with my new horse.

Can this bridle be used as a normal bridle for everyday hacking, I mean, can you use it as a snaffle bridle if you remove one of the straps? I don't want to start pulling the labels off it if it is useless to me!

:)Hi, if you remove the slip head its the same as a nomal bridle. :) You got a good deal as a double bridle is expensive n u have got 2 in 1 ! :)

Thanks, its a JB bridle, is that any good? It seems quite padded and is english leather?

Just make sure every time you clean the bridle you clean the slip head too, even though you havn't used it, or when you come to use it the slip head will be a different shade!

Due to the design I cannot remove the slip head so its useless to me :confused:

Its for sale if anyone is interested in a full size dark brown double bridle? Open to very reasonable offers!
