Authenticity(sp) of a German passport

I have a pasport no, a brand no, a breeders name. All in German. How do I check it out?

Have a look for your horses brand then you'l find who he is registered with, then email them for what ever you need to find out.

Or there is this site that translates type in what it says on the passport and convert to english.
