I have had three Stubben dressage saddles - a Parsifal and two Romanus models. Lovely quality and workmanship, unfortunately my horse is too wide for their trees now (pretty hilarious considering she is 7/8 TB) otherwise I would still have one. Never ridden in a jumping saddle version although I have occasioanlly jumped in my dressage saddle (ouch!)

Don't like stubben saddles, they look good from the outside, bit of a horror story where the customer can't see!

When you look at the general build of a Stubben, I think, they are not good value for money. Most are covered in a hide, which means usually an inferiour solid flap leather has been used. The trees used to be a bit dodgy and the panel tops were made of scrap sewn together to form one new peice of leather.
I used to think they were good too, then I got several to repair and was dissapointed in the general quality.
I have to say I have not taken one to bits for about 7 years, things may have changed and the quality improved now, but 10-20 years ago they were dissapointing.

Err, got lots. most are specialist Icelandic saddles, I have a Heather Moffett dressage TG. some other endurance saddles, all depends on the horse, oh and a few GPs that I made years ago.

I use a Wintec 500GP with CAIR. I think that it is super. It is so quick and easy to clean which is handy for showing, plus the flaps are cut really far forward so i can get a great jumping position, unlike the thoroughgood saddle I once had.
