Interested to know the highest you have jumped in a freeform. I have a lovely new freeform with poleys and larger knee rolls and would like to know what the limit is to our jumping (confidence allowing...).;)

I have a freeform (with small knee rolls and no poleys) and will jump up to about 2 foot in it as I feel like i am going to pop off the top of it with any shorter stirrups.
I would like to try a new one to see how secure they feel compared to the older ones.

Methinks whatever you want to do! :) Mine is on order (also got big knee rolls and poleys) and I plan on jumping up to about 3'6" in it if Dolly's happy with that height (she's only a little person). I've jumped 2'6" in my current one very comfortably but do scootch off the front on landing as there's not much there to hold my legs back.

I've done 2'6 too (although my young lady gets so excited I reckon she actually jumped over 2'9!) - I guess what I really want to know is whether the height restrictions talked about re treeless is down to rider support or saddle slipping or poor weight distribution for the horse. I don't ever see us wanting to jump over 3' because I'm a big scaredy cat now but I don't want to have to worry that jumping that height is going to cause my girl any pain because her saddle is only really suited to smaller jumps and hacking.

I've been playing with my Port Lewis Impression Pad with various treed saddles and my Freeform and so far the Freeform has given the best impression so I'm not worried :)
