Seen that thewy are now doing pads with removeable inserts on ebay for about £30. What are the likely hood of htese being any good or will they be dodgy like those cheapo saddles?

I haven't seen one, but to be honest I would say dodgy. My assumption would be someone making them in their front room and trying to sell them on ebay to make some money.

knee rolls are on velcro so you can just take them off if not needed.

I think it would be pretty easy to make your own pad, but seams would be a concern as flat seems are the best sort, and you don't know what you are getting until you fork out the money.

"Hi, Thank you for your question. I am not an expert on these but I will do my best to answer to the best of my knowledge. The inserts appear to be a type of neoprene rubber (high density rubber) rather than foam, approx 1 inch thick. The seam is very flat down the centre of the pad and there are no joins. Please send your e-mail address and I'll do some photo's of the underside for you. We have sold a couple of these with very positive feedback.£
What do you think? is this neoprene stuff normal? any good etc?
