Magnesium!

Well my magnesium from barefoot basics arrived today! Need to get a weigh tape though because its 4g to 100kg (I think, hopeless with weights and I cant remember!) and I dont know how much she weighs!
We shall see, although I am dubious as to whether it will calm her at all! :D

Need to bring it home and weigh some out actually and see how much I need to give her daily - its dne it grams and I dont have anything to weigh it up the yard, only to measure things in mls! :rolleyes:

I believe magnesium only works as a calmer if the horse is deficient in it in the first place (think tha'ts right anway!), so if it doesn't work at least you can take something positive out of that :)

I fed Magic (60% magnesium) Then bought neat (heavy). I feed 8gram/day to a 650kg horse and it still works. Thinking of lowering to 6g. Maybe thats cos he's already had Magic so had some mag in his system...Trial n error I think.
