Hi,
Noticed a couple of weeks ago that Tlyer had small cracks underneath a few nails after being shoed. Tonight he has small bits of the hoof breaking off. The hoof itself seems healthy enough and the damage is limited to where the nails have been put in.
Any suggestions. Biotin has been one. I dont use hoof oil etc, but keep reading that really it isnt good for the hoof to be covered every day in hoof oil/moisturiser. If it helps I can get pics of what I am talking about.
