View Full Version : Where can you get Pessoa rings from?

Ok that might not have explained it properly- on the Pessoa there are those like figure eight metal loop things that hold the ropes in place- only problem is they are prone to slipping a bit and one of the ones on the Pessoa i use has fallen off- i looked all over the tack room and couldn't find it anywhere- it must have pinged off somewhere!

Anywhere know if/ where i can get some more from? I had to tie it up tonight which worked but was not ideal!

If you just use your Pessoa on one horse and one one 'setting' for a short term basis, perhaps a bit of electrical tape would secure it to the length you want?

Obviously not ideal if you use it on many horses - how long have you had it, and is it a genuine Pessoa? I'd be a bit miffed if mine broke becuase they're not cheap! Not seen any wear on mine though and gets used pretty much every day. Maybe worth dropping the company a line?

I use it on more than one- and they are both very different sizes and at a different stage too!

It is a genuine Pessoa- i noticed a few weeks ago that the ropes can pull through the rings and was taking great care to make sure that they didn't slip too far- i obviously missed one or it got caught up in the tackroom- only had it for a month or so- i am so annoyed- i don't want to have to search the tack room with a fine tooth comb! that's if it is still in the tack room!

Oh well then after a month I would definately be getting my angry letter writing hat on!

Maybe try info@pessoasaddles.com, which is the only email address I can find for the brand name as such, or try the company you bought it from?

Thanks for that will drop them a line and see what happens- haven't been able to find any spare ring things on line so may have to resort to banning all entry into the tack room and moving everything out piece by piece until i find the darn thing

I lost a few of those rings off mine, I contacted the supplier and they sent me a couple but I've just ended up tying them up now I've run out, still does the job and it's still adjustable.

Hopefully you'll be able to get some more :)
