Roughly how much does a slice of hay weigh?

I was just wondering on average roughly how much a slice of hay would weigh or how much a whole bale of hay might weigh?

a slice from mine weighs about 2kg , a whole bale approx 18kg , there is obviously variation even within the same batch of hay
