Dengie Alfa Beet

Has anyone tried this?i was looking at getting some fibre beet but this alfa beet has 5% more protein and is cheaper and easier to get.I usually use sugar beet but thought i`d try something for my 25yr old thoroughbred who hasn`t got great teeth.

We tried it last winter.Couldn't get any spedibeet as they had run out. My oldy loved it and within a fortnight(fed with vet mix) he had put on weight.
The 2 ponies hated it and would just tip the buckets over and sift out the carrots.
It looks like cow poo in a bucket and stains everything!! I'll probably be using it again this winter for my oldy.

It was used on my friends little pony before he was pts. His teeth were bad and he couldnt chew hay hardly, thus dropping alot of weight, with soaked high firbe cubes and alfa beet he put on weight.
