Well was very pleased with saddle and when gith finally arrived i got to ride.
Was very comfy and didnt see to hog all dexters back, 1st problem was the girth was too big! Dexter isnt as fat as I thought obviously so now i need to try and change that!
Secondly I need some more shims I think, I didnt have time to try fully but used my pad with one set of shims in and a riser pad, there was clearance but when Ive more time I will try it out more such as the knotted string test and see what I need.
Also was not sure if the seat was too small or if its just because I'm used to a very flat saddle. When I first got on i had to really lengthen the stirrups to stop my knees being infront of the knee roll, I then had to move the stirrup placement further back and it was fine then more normal, although when I popped over a pole my legs did swing back, tho im sure I can get used to that.
Sadly only rode for 10 mins, bf had to get back home, got him to take a few pics but hes abit incompetant with a camera! Let me know what you think

I can't really see in the pictures that well, but it looks a bit high over the withers, I only used an equitex pad with the freeform on shay and murf, and could get one finger between withers and saddle.

Other than that it looks a nice saddle, does it feel good quality?

Yeah its pretty could, I couldnt buy it for the knee thigh rolls tho cus u dont really notice them, but then again I wouldnt know what it would be like on a treeless without them. My thighs hurt today lol! Shows what a chair seat ive been used to!! Im going to change my girth and then try again, just got to find the time to change the blummin girth now tho!

You can get shims for the haf pads from Goldfinch but I don't know if they would fit. Maybe check out horse and harmony and see if they do shims for the grandeur pad.

Quite honestly you could make your own, by making a paper template of the shape of the pockets, and then using this to cut some foam sheets. When I bought a second set of shims from Goldfinch, this is obviously what they did, as you could see the pen marks on the foam!

Not sure where you could get foam sheets from, but feel sure that someone on here will know - or perhaps try ebay?
