Black, tan or brown?

I have two chestnuts and I have a tan western saddle and a mahogany brown one. I think the brown one looks better, but the tan one isn't bad. Black western saddle doesn't look good on a chestnut, IMO.
If you can, it's good to get a bridle and other tack that goes with the saddle at the same time. The different shades of leather go in and out of style, and you might get the saddle now and not be able to find a bridle that looks good with it if you wait too long.

I would think brown should be nice on both :) Of course black would be nice too.

Hi,
Stormin's chestnut so easiest thing was to add a couple of piccies with him in his gear. (excuse for quality of shots, first ones that came to hand).
His tack was darkish tan when I got it but has become a deeper and richer colour with soaping and oiling (hope that makes sense).
