SATURDAY or SUNDAY £10.00 Per Day

SPECIAL ROSETTES



All turnouts MUST carry adequate Insurance


Saturday 29th
10.00 am from horsebox area

Informal BDS Drive 2 routes 4-6miles (short) or 10 miles long

N.B.Members will be set off at 4 minute intervals or may travel together if they choose.

There will be a safety check at the start.



1.00 pm in the Park by the Hall

Ring 1
Themed Dressage to Music in 40m x 60m Arena

Costumes/Fancy Dress will be judged as a separate class (on the move)

Musical Display should be 2-3 minutes

To mark the BDS 50 years, music chosen from 1957ish will gain bonus marks!

Ring 2 No Cantering
Handy Pony/Horse: Course suitable for 2 and 4 wheelers





Ring 3 Cantering will be penalized
Cones Course may include Bridge and Box type elements

1) Clear Round: Open to all --- All Clear rounds can enter the Run off

2) BDS Novice Cones Novices and Beginners only

2) Navigator’s Cones: Open to Navigators, Back Steppers, Grooms

3) Relay Cones: All names in a hat with pairs drawn at random.













Sunday 30th
10.00 am from horsebox area

Informal BDS Drive shirt drive 4-6miles

N.B.Members will be set off at 4 minute intervals or may travel together if they choose.

There will be a safety check at the start.



Noon in the Park by the Hall

Ring 1
Style & Performance

· Reversing alongside a straight line painted on the ground.

· Trotting two 20 metre circle, one-handed on both reins.

· Walk a straight line between 2 markers & Drive through `L` shape of cones.

· Complete standstill, whilst groom dismounts, walks around the turnout, then remounts the vehicle.

· Negotiate an obstacle

· Whilst in vehicle, groom to move flag from one cone to another.
