Me and my friend would like to eventually put our welsh section a in foal but where do you start? She is registered how do I pick the right stallion and breeding lines? here is a pic of her so you can get a rough idea of what she looks like

she looks like a Bengad pony.If you pm me her breeding i will see what her lines are for you.It depends what you want the foal for.There are all types of Sec A ponies.This mare if yours has a nice length of neck and a pretty head.She looks like she might be fine in bone,ideal for lead rein so if you wanted more bone you would put her to a bigger stallion.

ah right - What shall I do scan her passport with the breeding bit on?

The best place I would start is to look at your mare and pick out her faults. I know its difficult, but all horses have them, no horse is perfect. Say she is a bit light of bone and low over the tail for example, you need to find a stallion with a lot of bone and a good tail carriage.
Have a look through a wpcs journal and you will see lots of diiferent types of stallions.
