On behalf of a friend, has anyone had any experience of these saddles ? (this is the Griffin, not the new T4 or T6 range). Good or bad ? Are they really comfy? (supposed to have a super comfy gel seat or something). I may be wrong but think they have slightly set back stirrup bars for comfort, look nice and comfy for the horse with wide panels etc, also the front of the knee rolls are quite raised and padded, looks comfy but hard to tell. This pic is off ebay, perhaps someone on here is selling it ...

i treated a horse that had one and i have to say it fitted really well, and the owner loved it and said it was comfy for her as well:D

Fish is really a waste of time.
Maxams can be a good fit - my one fits Pink really well. Flocking died however and a full replacement (what I would get) wouldn't have been much cheaper than a new, comfier saddle:o
It they fit your horse, great. If they don't no amount of Fish will change that. They have a very flat tree, whch often bridges on 'normal' horses. The flocking in them is absolutly crap thought - compacts really quickly then goes lumpy.

I ordered a T-4 Endurance saddle for Dyfra....and one of these days it will get here.
Let you know what I think when it arrives and I get to ride in it.
Just to let you know Dyfra is very wide, has no withers and a flat back.
I have had both Wintec and the Thorowgood Broad back in the past. Liked the Thorowgood better and it held up well.

I have one for sale at the moment as no longer fits any of my boys. They are so comfy, I wish I didn't have to sell it lol.......
