At the moment Indy has 3 1/2 mugs of lo cal and a small half scoop of either hifi lite or hifi good doer.

She is a tad on the podgey side, but not huge. She maintains condition very easily, even over winter. She is living out 24/7, at the moment her grazing is being restricted but as her work increases (been off work/ walk only for 3 wks- 2 unrelated injuries!) she will be allowed back on the normal gass.

I am just starting trot/ canter again, but does seem to be lacking a little sparkle, and is not quite her normal self. Normally she is very forward going, but she seems a little sluggish. I don't feel i am pushing her for her fitness levels.

Over the winter i had anticipated her being in fairly hard work, building up to some unaff dressage and low level bsja, hopefully some local level unaf events in the spring. Therefore i had already thought i may need to add something extra to her feed to give her a bit more energy, but i'm not sure what.

I don't want to cause her to gain to much weight, and i also dont want to feed something that will cause her to go nuts when she gets back to being her normal self.

The vet is checking her mon, to check all is ok, and as long as we get thumbs up, i will introduce the new feed now.

Any suggestions? :)

I recommend that you contact Dengie (http://www.dengie.com/pages/contact-us.php) for more specific advice, as their high fibre, forage-based feeds are ideal to be fed alongside thre Lo-Cal to provide 'sparkle without fizz' but without promoting weight gain either.
Give them a shot.
