Have been seriously hunting for a treeless saddle for my twitchy TB mare & was on the verge of buying this:

but did some research on the net & wanting something with a bit more rider security :D, am prob going to order this:

never in a million years did I think I would go for a western treeless for my dressagey TB, but I have read lots of positive feedback on these, she used to be the designer for Bob Marshall in the US, but has struck out on her own, her website is
www.debrasibleysaddles.com
if you want to take a look at some of her designs, she has just quoted me $1400 for the above saddle, with my name on the cantle, & is getting back to me with shipping costs.

I agree, its not the clearest of sites, but from what I understand it doesn't have a tree, but is has flexi-bars to give it a bit more structure than a treeless, they seem to be going down a storm amongst the barrel racers in the US, from what I gather from the lady herself, she competes v succesfully & demo's the saddles across the country.
Have yet to read a bad review on them- & nearly all the saddles shown on the site have sold out!

Wow, that is really similar, but ALOT more expensive, yikes
She has some amazing designs on her site & will basically make them to whatever design, colour combinations you want, I wanted something as simple as poss, but still unusual & personal, & for the price it sems perfect for what I want!
Just read your other post re saddle colours, you'll have to post piccies when it arrives, v exciting :D

That looks a very nice saddle. I'd be interested in knowing how you get on with it as we want a barrel racing saddle for one of ours. In addition to the shipping, don't forget to add on custom charges and VAT when the saddle reaches the UK. It can sometimes be a nasty shock.

will def keep you updated- being a bit of an ebay addict & having a guitar obsessed hubby, we have imported all his guitars from the US so yep, have factored in potentially scary customs charges, just can't get anything so bespoke over here for anywhere near this price- yeehaa-so do you barrel race in the UK??:D

Now we have found an organisation we can do it with, we'll be having a go next year. I enjoyed the little bit I did in the US this year. I like the fact the barrel racing saddles are shorter in the back and my horses are all short backed so I think the design is better for them. I love the colours on the sibley saddles website, I much prefer that sort of personalisation to lots of bling bling silver.

That's what I really liked about them, that they weren't too ott- unless you want them to be :D
As it's going on my TB mare, didn't want it to look too Lone Ranger :)
I believe that you barrel racers really fly, so it must be a good secure ride!
