Do you know what your mare is crossed with as breeding an unknown horse can throw up all kinds of surprises! - one of my neighbours crossed 2 14.2 ponies of unknown breeding and got a 17Hh monster!!! When you say sport horse stallion is this a stallion of unknown breeding? What are you looking to breed? What sort of things do you want to potentially do with the foal?
If you are going for a warmblood/TB type horse you should theoretically get somthing lighter than your mare and taller.

I would say you'd be better using a nice irish draught to be honest, you'll keep the strength and more likely to get something that is in proportion, with a sport horse you could get one thats got lanky bits, chunky bits and coarse bits all mixed in together or not quite the right legs for the body or vice versa. Irish draughts are largely used to produce sport horses so you are likely to keep the talent as well

I would agree with both the previous opinions.
Either an ID or TB or, if you want, a mixture of the two. There are some 3/4 TB 1/4 ID stallions that look useful.
Throwing other breeds in really makes things more of a gamble & there are some very strangely put together foals around.

hhmm.. an Irish Draught wouldnt be a bad choice to be honest! might look into that or 3/4 TB 1/4 ID stallion would be another good choice!
Thanks for your opinions :)
