Hi everyone,

Just wondering does anyone have a copy of either (or both) the Prelim 2 and 14 tests. One of our local shows is holding both tests and I'd like to have a look at them before entering to see which is more appropriate for me and my horse as it will be his first ever test and my first in around 15 years!

Prelim 2, & Prelim 14 are no longer in the current tests. I will have a hunt and see if I can find an old sheet with them on and PM them to you.

Have you got them now, nix? If not I can send you 2, and probably 14 as well. 2 is the easiest - designed for baby horses, with plenty of space for transitions, and you canter half circles. 14's more complicated, but fun.

Sorry Nix - no luck on old sheets (it is LONG time since I rode these tests). However the new Prelim 7 is actually the old Prelim 2 so here goes:

1. A Enter at working trot, proceed down centre line without
halting
C Track left

2. H Working trot round the arean to A

3. FXH Change rein in working trot

4. H Working trot around the arena to A

5. A Commence circle right 20 metres diameter and on the circle
between X & A working canter right.

6. A Working canter round the arena, betweeen B&F working trot
FAK Working trot

7. K Medium walk
E Turn right
B Track left
M Working trot

8. C Commence circle left 20 metres diameter and on circle
between X&C working canter left

9. C Working canter round the arena, between B&M working trot

10. C Medium walk
HB Change rein at free walk ona long rein
B Medium walk

11. F Working trot
A Down centre line
G Halt. immobility. Salute

Leave arena on a long rein at A

I will keep looking for a Prelim 14 copy in the meantime

I was judging last night - guess which test? I got a copy of P14 from the organiser so here goes:

1. A Enter at working trot and proceed down centre line
without halting
C Track right

2. MBFA working trot, between K & H one loop 5 metres in from
the track

3. C to X Half circle right 20 metres diameter
X to C Half circle left 20 metres diameter

4. Between A & F Working canter left around the arena to C

5. C Circle left 20 metres diameter

6. HXF Change the rein, between X & F working trot

7. KXM Change the rein
M Working trot

8. C Medium walk
HBK Free walk on a long rein
K Medium walk

9. A Working trot, between F & M one loop 5 metres in from the
track

10. C to X half circle left 20 metres diameter
X to C half circle right 20 metres diameter

11. Between A & K working canter right around the arena to C

12. C Circle right 20 metres diameter

13. MXK Change the rein, between X & K working trot
A Down the centre line

14. X Medium walk
G Halt. Immobility. Salute
Leave the arena at walk on a long rein at A.

I was wondering if anyone has a prelim 10 or 13 dressage test.
I thought LGD may be alot of help as she has answered other posts if anyone does have these tests i would be very gratefull as i have my first show next week thanks xhannahx .:)

Please remember that British Dressage tests are copyright. These tests are not expensive to buy from BD (I think about 40p each) and you can download legal copies from dressagediagrams.com for about £1.50.

Don't be passing around illegal copies, all this does is deprive BD of funds.

hey again i am asking if anyone has PRELIM 10 OR 13 as this is needed for my first dressage test on saturday with my pony .i would be very very gratefull if anyone had either of these tests .

If you go to www.dressagediagrams.com you can buy and download them straight from there. Or, your local tack shop will almost certainly sell copies of the tests.
