Dear Horse Owners / Riders

UK SADDLE SURVEY – PLEASE HELP

I have experienced problems with the issue of saddle fitting and saddle manufacturing quality control which has prompted me to research further into the subject. I have designed a saddle survey which only takes about 5 minutes to complete fully and you can choose to remain anonymous.

http://www.andybarson.btinternet.co.uk/equine/saddle.htm

You will need to have looked for certain things on your saddle so it helps either to print out the questions or to have it with you when you fill out the survey.

I appreciate the time taken to complete this UK survey about saddles. I am not connected to any manufacturer or commercial organisation.

In the interests of horses in the UK please can you ask as many other horse owners and riders you know to complete this survey as well. If possible could you indicate how you found out about the survey in the other comments section.

Many thanks to all that take the time to look at the survey and to fill it in.

I'm glad to see someone is trying to make saddles even better than they are. I just did you survey. I hope it helps.

Thanks Maverick

Sorry I've not acknowledged sooner I've been ill :( The replies so far make interesting reading but I will need quite a few more from around the country to make sense of the situation. So far the replies are concentrated from south of Watford - could be to do with where I started posting the survey.

Where is everyone from the North? I know you're out there because that's where I am based and I see lots of horses around!!!

Seriously though I do appreciate the interest shown in the short time the survey has been running. Please encourage your friends to submit a survey it'll only take 5 minutes once you've had a look at your saddle. Many thanks

I would do your survey, but I'm horse-less, so completely saddle-less. I so want a horse. Oh the shame...:(
