Had a few of the regulars meet up last night for feed and a good gab :D

We were chatting about actually heading into town one evening for some drinks but also to do a tour of the real mary kings close

Wouldn’t worry about clothes girls, website states you need sturdy foot wear and down there it is very uneven in places, dark and dirty, so I would dress for the occasion so to say haha. I have been once before and was in Jeans and trainers which I was very thankful for! Just wish my eyes were better in the dark :)

Probably best meeting at mary kings close and seeing who turns up. Popping in and booking a tour together. They do suggest pre-booking but in all honesty I would rather not have one of us pre-book and someone put in on their card and then not have people turn up etc.

So if we met up first and marys close, went in and each of other pay for a tour in a further hour or so and then pop to the pub for a couple of drinks before going back for the tour? Gives us a central meeting place etc? Then back to the pub afterwards?

I am hoping my lovely fiancé ( already sucking up haha) will drive myself and Marsden in to save on parking and so we can drink. Marsdens is on the way from mine and on the direction to Edinburgh. Can’t say without checking with Marsden about picking more up on route etc and without firstly confiriming with Ade :D

I have been with my work and my brother (above) tour guide with work was fab! tour guide with brother was somewhat *OMG* He had to talk to you 2cm from your face like he was gonna kiss you. Girls i agree a man with senese of humour is lovely but this was a old dirty sweaty man and not nice having him close all the time.

Was going to check which guide we will have before hand :)

You could take you heels to change into Jenni after the tour ? :D

I won't be staying too late - I have a show jumping clinic with Mark McGowan the morning after and there is no way I am jumping with a hangover - not after last years effort when I mounted my horse having had 3 hours sleep and was probably still a bit drunk and he decided that it would be a good idea to having a bucking bronco day and I left the arena after 15 mins and one jump:o NEVER again - there should be a law against drunk riding:eek::D

how about we have a meet at Ingliston Equestrian centre? they have a very posh new bar/restaurant where you can get anything from posh tucker to chilli fries:o:D

we went there last week and the window looks onto the arenas so we could really fuel that horsey chat watching some BSJA or even vaulting (shall have to check if thats on at the weekend).

i know its a bit out of some peoples way but i promise you wont regret it:D
