Does anyone know anything about Neem Oil, quantities and what to mix as a dilute and where I can get it?

I've heard it can be used as an effective healing product/repellent for skin conditions and sweetitch.

I bought some Neem oil stuff from Naturally Paws (www.naturallypaws.com I think) to help with my cats awful flea allergy. She'd been treated by the vet, we'd sprayed the house several times, etc and even the vet said that there wasn't anything else we could do. I bathed her with the neem mixture once and she hasn't had a problem since. I think I used a dilution of 5ml of the concentrate to 100ml of basic animal shampoo.

I also buy Neem oil on its own from Pauhla Whitaker (she advertises and sometimes posts on here) and use it in my flyspray. Last year my horse had to wear a flysheet from June to September as she got bitten really badly. This year she hasn't worn her fly sheet once and was the only horse coming in without lots of flybites. Other people have noticed and have started to buy the concentrate from me (I add on a bit for the effort, they could make it themselves if they got their finger out).

I think I use 5ml of neem oil to 100ml of water (it also has lots of other essential oils in it). Pauhla has posted the fly spray recipe in the money saving tips forum.

I don't have any experience of using it to treat sweet itch but I would imagine if it works for flea allergies it would be worth trying for sweet itch, plus it's pretty inexpensive.
