Hiya! Im from Devon! Near Exeter. Where are you from? I was thinking that us Devonians could meet up at the Xmas equine fair in nov? anyone up for that?

i live in exeter horses just outside!!! im deff going to the equine fair..have u been b4 it tends to be a bit manic!

yeh i go nearly every year. think im going on the sunday this year because ive got to work on the saturday. r u in any riding club in this area? what horses have you got?

Yes its north devon, I know a couple ppl on here from barnstaple, bout 10miles from me, just wondered if anyone on here from bideford:)

not really devon - but just over the tamar bridge from plymouth. i live in saltash. while there are local ears about - does anyone have a number for clipping?

I don't now of anyone in that area sorry, but if you get someone you could recommend to others, then tell them to email me so I can add then to my clipping person database !

I am definitely taking my credit card told OH as well and his face was like this:eek: but bless him he said ok try not to max it out and I said I would be a good girl ;) yea right :D As for what to wear I will have on my blue chav jacket (as youngest daughter calls it ) bought it in the sports world sale as it was really thick an padded, if I feel brave and eldest daughter will let me I will have a green tea cosy on my head (actually a woolly hat I have a very cheeky family):D

I do look like a plank in it but really don't care as my ears stay toastie warm, it goes with my florescent jacket :D and after 23 years of marriage my husband doesn't take much notice of what I wear ;)

Lol bless him I can't wait to see that, I couldn't drag mine along kicking and screaming even if I wanted too, having said that I really wouldn't want him looking over my shoulder whilst I am whipping my credit card out at every opportunity :D

lol!!! hubby is pretty fab, when we first met he gave me 100 quid and told me to go and spend it... just wasnt anything i wanted! horses are a bit diff but he tells me to BUY things!! (hand on my heart im not a big spender) actually saying all this i did email him about a month ago saying id just bought a new horse ...opsie!
now as far as the green hat goes.... i shall draw a line, but could arrange a time to be hanging around a certain place....

I have been told that this Westpoint show is a very good show if you are shopping, and nearly as good as the YHL show for this.
I was surprised at the size of the shopping area this year, and it was heaving.
I've got the card marked for some poly jumps, but I'm not that keen on hanging the poles out the car window like some modern day jousting session:eek:

I went and didn't max out the credit card :eek: I did wear the green tea cosy for a bit but it was quite warm, I had it on for the stallion parade :D Stencilbum were you on the clippersharp stand I may have spoken to you and not realised it (didn't have the tea cosy on) I was looking at trimmers and a very nice lady suggested the Legato instead of the Element trimmers was that you ? I was a bit dissappointed in the spook busting but had a good day to say I was excited is an understatement we were the first car at the gate :D:D:D
