First Western Show this Saterday

I've decided that I am going to do Western next show season :P I've done all Hunter and English my whole life besides 4 years of western about 8 years ago lol. I'm entering Western pleasure w/t 18-R.I.P since it's a fun Halloween show :D. I'm super excited, my mothers friend has been training us. She's teaching us more Trail & halter showmanship stuff and we're doing some pleasure and Eq as well. I'm so excited for next season :D wish me luck and I'll get pictures if possible :D. I've had so much fun teaching D to side pass and pivot :P he seems to really enjoy trail courses as well!!

Good luck. I'm sure you'll do brilliantly. I really want to take up western riding again. I started about 5 years ago, but my horse is a very big, heavyweight cob type, and although saddle does fit, she's not very comfortable to ride western as she has a very choppy trot, and is the wrong shape. I have kept my lovely TexTan saddle though.

Ooh! Have fun! I can't wait to get back into riding and getting my boy into western riding when I get home. (Soooooon!)

thnx everyone!! hehe I just need a costum for us to wear in our classes. I know I'm going to have a black cape.... I'm thinking maybe a Dark rider from Lord of the rings??? lol I'm not sure how I would dress D up though..... >.< He's a 15.3H Tobiano Paint... hehe if anyone has any ideas let me know :D.
