Well on the 1 of the few sunny days in October I did a prelim test at the stables up the road.

I rode my RIs horse because she recently had a hip operation and I helped her out during the summer (but really she helped me loads with getting experience with horses) so as a thank you she said I could take one of her horses up to the competition!

Went great!! I remembered the test (1 of the many thinks that could go wrong)

I had a fabulous time I came about 9th or something down there but I couldn't care less because I had such a great time.

(took me a while for the post because i didn't have the photos before and thought you might want to see?)

feel free to critique but I am aware I needed a lot more impulsion

any way I'll shut up here are the pics (sorry if big )

what a cute horse!

my main suggestion would be to try dropping your stirrups a hole or so for dressage. :)

I have not seen our RIs horse before, looks very nice. And what a great way to say thankyou to you by letting you compeate one of her horses.
