i know that if something is wrong its allways the riders fault....but on this one horse my upper body seems to be to far out of the saddle and almost layin on the horse (but not laying on him) i jumped him without reins or stirrups and had NO PROBLEM but pictures showed my upper body still down like its a 5' jump and it was only 2'6! what is wrong with my position, or this horse does have a HUGE jump than sometimes can really pop you up if you arn't aware of it. so is it just his jump getting my body like that... i try really hard to stretch up taller but with his jump i found myself getting left behind once or twice (something that i rarley do).

If it only happens on one horse and no any other that you ride it will be something to do with that horse. you should maybe try and get some lessons to see if an instructor can find what wrong. Sometimes its pretty simple, as for me when I ride fast horses my legs are always too far back, but for slower horses they are in the correct position.

If you are not jumping ahead and you are letting him push you out of the saddle, and it only happens on this one horse, I would say the horse probably just has a big jump which is causing your jump position to change. Your stirrups could possibly be too long or short, which is setting you off balance, I'm just suggesting this because you said you jumped without stirrups and you were fine. Other then that, I would have your instructor watch you jumping and he/she might suggest something else. :D
